Role Required: Bar Manager

Busy Period: January to July 2024

  • Working with the 2024 Festival Manager, identify which venues/events could offer bar facilities.
  • With our Treasurer, create a budget for the purchase and sale of drinks.
  • Identify and create contracts for suppliers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks.
  • Establish and manage a supply chain of drinks for each venue/event.
  • Arrange for a bar to be set up at each venue/event as required.
  • Source glasses/cups for use at the Festival in line with our environmental goals.
  • With the Marketing Team and Administrator, help recruit volunteers to run the bars at each venue.
  • Ensure payments can be taken at each venue and staff are trained in using.
  • Arrange for storage of drinks/snacks.
  • Arrange for stock returns and/or post-Festival sale/storage of leftover drink stock.
