Join true crime author and murder mystery event specialist Helen Saxton in conversation about her debut book covering the controversial story of Amanda Knox surrounding the murder of British student Meredith Kercher in 2007. We’ll not only discuss the case but explore the idea that no-one apart from those who were or were not present can really know what went on that night, using mini reconstructions of key events performed by actors, to discover how confirmation bias influences our thoughts on true crime.
Helen’s book, released earlier this year in February, Amanda Knox, Crime, Trial, Release and Controversy, pieces together a timeline of events, investigating the conflicting opinions found in countless books, articles, films, documentaries and discussions which have emerged over the years surrounding Meredith’s murder.
A unique evening for any true crime or murder mystery fans.
