The GAP Festival is a celebration of the arts and entertainment that started as an ambitious cultural project in 2014 as a legacy to the Queen’s Jubilee.
After the first Festival, the word spread and now a Festival takes place in June every other year in the beautiful Goring Gap villages of Goring and Streatley. It brings outstanding performers and artists together with events encompassing art, music, literature, comedy, theatre, science and more.
The Goring and Streatley Festival, as it is officially known, is a registered charity. We rely on the generous support of our volunteers, sponsors, and individual donations to bring this Festival to you.
The GAP Festival exists to promote, educate and engage people with arts and cultural activities in our community.
Our aim is always the highest standard of professionalism and we attract some of the UK’s best artists in their field. The GAP Festival strives to support and encourage professional and amateur artists within our community and to expand the already thriving cultural activities here by bringing in nationally acclaimed experiences to the Festival.
The GAP Festival known formally as The Goring and Streatley Festival is a registered charity number 1161360 and a company incorporated in England and Wales limited by guarantee, company registration number 08924999. Our Trustee Board oversees all of our charitable activities. If you would like to know more about how we are run please contact us and one of the team will be in touch.
